Tim McLelland This album reminds me of why I loved the Speed/Thrash Metal explosion back in the 80's - tight playing, tinny and crunchy sound with all the instruments audible ... and fucking GUITAR SOLOS. The absolute best part is the vocalist, however, as he is just slightly melodic and 100% NOT an Araya clone. Seems like all the newer bands think only Araya, Baloff, and Snake were the singers in Thrash. Hell, the cover is even reminiscent of a Repka. These guys rule. Favorite track: Hisingen Warriors.

MindOverFour The last album was great sci-fi speed metal with killer Savatage-like vocals. This album is even better. I love everything about this band, including the high-pitched shrieks and the awesome artwork. Thrash album of the year. Favorite track: The Search.
